This course explores advanced customization, information management, and security tools in Outlook 2010.

Course highlights include a discussion about advanced e-mail and information management features, linking items, using the journal, custom forms, publishing and sharing calendars, the new Social Network Connector, data management, Outlook security, and the Outlook Address Book.

Advanced E-Mail Features
To start the course, we will talk about creating and using signatures and stationery. Then, we will talk about attaching various items to an e-mail. Next, message options (such as priority, follow-up, receipts, voting options, and delayed delivery) will be discussed. Participants will receive an introduction to the Outlook Options dialog to round out the section.

Advanced Information Management Tools
This section will focus on advanced calendar, task, and contact management tools. View creation and management will also be covered.

Advanced Topics
Next, participants will learn a few ways to improve their productivity in Outlook. First, linking items to each other using various methods (including the journal) will be covered. Then, creating, publishing, and using custom forms will be covered. (The omsgclas utility will be included in this discussion.) A discussion on calendar sharing and the new Social Network Connector rounds out the section.

Data Management
This section will show participants how to manage Outlook profiles and data. Information on the Account Settings window, mailbox cleanup, AutoArchive, and importing and exporting data is also included.

Outlook Security
To conclude the course, participants will learn about the Outlook Address Book, Trust Center, and macros.
